We are pleased to again offer a workshop entirely devoted to assisting those professionals preparing to take the Maryland portion of the licensing exam. We are especially pleased to offer this course in an online format. Emphasis will be placed on the Maryland Licensure Law, the Maryland Code of Ethics for licensed psychologists, and exam technique. The online format will offer participant’s increased convenience and increased interaction with the presenter and with other participants. New exam content areas are added on an ongoing basis based on what the Board provides the examinees.

The online format addresses all relevant laws that examinees are expected to be familiar with, as well as a review of all traditional content areas. It will include online discussions, Q & A sessions, quizzes, study aids and practice exams.

As a participant, you will be able to participate in online discussions and Q&A sessions as often as you like between the start of the course and the conclusion . The use of a web-board discussion format enables you to participate whenever you like, at your convenience.

About the Presenter:

Jeffrey E. Barnett, Psy.D., is a Past President of the Maryland Psychological Association, and a former Chair of the MPA Ethics Committee, as well as several other MPA boards and committees. Dr. Barnett is also the recipient of the MPA Award for Outstanding Professional Contributions to Psychology. Dr. Barnett is in private practice in Arnold, Maryland, and is an adjunct Professor on the core faculty of the Psychology Department at Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland. He also provides ethics training to several APA-approved clinical psychology internships. Additionally, he is a frequent workshop presenter and author of ethics and legal issues in psychology.
