License Review Course - Maryland State Portion

License Review Course

Online Format

Jeffrey E. Barnett, Psy.D.

We are pleased to again offer a workshop entirely devoted to assisting those professionals preparing to take the Maryland portion of the licensing exam. We are especially pleased to offer this course in an online format. This is an ongoing access format so you can self pace your studies for the exam. Emphasis will be placed on the Maryland Licensure Law, the Maryland Code of Ethics for licensed psychologists, and exam technique. The online format will offer participant’s increased convenience and increased interaction with the presenter and with other participants. New exam content areas are added on an ongoing basis based on what the Board provides the examinees.

By participating in this online licensure review course all your questions will be answered, you will learn strategies for successfully taking the exam, you will learn which sections of State law to focus your studies on and which are less important, and we will go through each line of all applicable State laws and regulations to be sure you understand them.  What to focus on will be emphasized and what to gloss over will be pointed out.  You will learn the types of questions that are typically asked and specific strategies for how to respond to each of them.  You will learn what materials the exam covers and what materials it definitely does not cover.  Through our web forum discussions, we will discuss the practice answers and discuss the rationale behind different responses.  Also, using the web forum, other questions participants have will be answered.  In addition to the materials the Board of Examiners sent you, no other materials will be needed.  Everything else will be provided here in the review course.
