MPAGS is the graduate student arm of the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA). It is an organization oriented toward unifying graduate students throughout Maryland and surrounding areas. MPAGS is dedicated to supporting fellow students in their collective development as leaders and advocates for the field of psychology.

MPAGS Mission Statement

MPAGS strives to enhance the professional development of graduate students of psychology by providing opportunities in leadership, networking, research, presentations, and scholarships.

The graduate student organization (MPAGS), a division of the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA), serves the following functions:

  • Continue the professional development of graduate psychology students by providing a formal structure for communicating and networking with students in the state;
  • Provide a platform for students to discuss training issues;
  • Maintain a flow of information about the many important resources and services for aspiring psychologists offered by MPA.
