MPAGS WINS APAGS AWARD!

Maryland Psychological Association were the recipient of the 2010 APAGS Award for an Outstanding State, Provincial, and Territorial Association of the Year. The $1500 award recognizes a State, Provincial, and Territorial Association for superior performance in promoting graduate student development, involvement, and joint APAGS/SPTA membership. After a very careful review and rating process by a number of APAGS committee members and officers, it was decided that the Maryland Psychological Association demonstrates an exemplary level of commitment to graduate student development and would be the recipient of the 2010 award. The award was presented to MPA and MPAGS representatives at the 2010 State Leadership Conference in Washington, DC, March 7. Congratulations to all the hard working MPAGS officers and members - we are so proud of you! Our grateful thanks, once again, to Dr. Jeffrey Barnett, MPAGS Advisor, for his invaluable help and for heading up the award application process!
