The Ethics Manual

The Ethics Manual is published by MPA's ethics committee and edited by Jeffrey E. Barnett, Psy.D. It represents the culmination of many years of work by a number of MPA members. It contains a compilation of articles written for The Maryland Psychologist that discuss ethics issues dilemmas, and decision making in a number of important areas. It also includes a series of valuable articles written by the MPA legal counsel, Richard Bloch, Esq. The manual is used for educational purposes in many local universities.

The Maryland Psychologist

The Maryland Psychologist (TMP) is the official publication of the Maryland Psychological Association and is published bimonthly (6 times per year). This publication focuses on research, practice, and issues facing the field of psychology. The Maryland Psychologist reaches over 1,300 psychologists throughout Maryland and beyond.

Each issues covers important MPA and legislative news, book reviews, substantive articles in line with the issue's theme, and classified ads.

MPA members receive 6 issues of The Maryland Psychologist per year and have online access to archived abstracts and full-text articles. Members can view and retrieve past issues of the TMP, but must be logged in to do so. Nonmembers may view articles but must purchase a subscription.
