The Kennedy Krieger Institute Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress in Baltimore, Maryland has an opening for a Psychologist I to provide clinical care to children and families affected by violence, maltreatment, and other trauma. The clinical duties of a Psychologist I include conducting psychological evaluations ranging from screenings to full psychological evaluations, providing psychotherapy to children through individual, family, or group modalities as appropriate, and participating in the psychology training program.  The position includes opportunities to supervise doctoral-level and postdoctoral trainees in the Center’s APA accredited training program.  Faculty appointment at the affiliated Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is available for psychologists with a demonstrated interest in research, teaching, and the pursuit of clinical leadership and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an APA-approved internship in clinical psychology.

  • Must hold and maintain CPR certification.

Education: 

Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited college, university, or professional school and is licensed to practice psychology in the state of Maryland.

Experience:
